The Amal Alliance, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) dedicated to empowering displaced youth through social development programs at refugee camps around the globe. It is based on the premise that we are all global citizens with a social and moral responsibility to ensure all children have access to their cultural identity, knowledge of their history and future opportunities through reading stories and finding inner strength. Our holistic approach stimulates the mind and body through Education and Integration programs.
Lani & Jen will be partnering with Amal Alliance as Danielle De La Fuente, the founder, will be taking the MIndful Yoga Breaks tools with her to refugee camps all over the world. Stay tuned for photos and posts from Danielle sharing her experience in using these tools with the kids who are living in these camps for years at a time. We are so excited for this partnership as we know that learning how to calm your “bulldog brain” can make a huge impact in how these kids deal with the trauma they are facing daily.

Mindfulness has never been more important!
Beginning April & October 1st (in 2017 we launched this project!), Lani from Full of Joy Yoga & Susan from Budding Buddhas Kids Yoga had invited you, your children and students to join us for daily yoga and mindfulness exercises. We provided you with daily videos, led by some of the biggest hearts in the Kids Yoga field (as well as their kids yogi friends from around the world!). These short videos showcase easy-to-learn yoga poses, breathing exercises, and mindfulness activities.
